Non-woven drawstring pouch, made to order

Drawstring pouch, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference DR-NW00003. Stress points are bar-tacked or cross-stitched where a handle meets the body, and every seam is finished inside so the bag does not shed fibre onto its contents.

Material and construction

Non-woven is spun-bond polypropylene: fibres laid down and bonded rather than woven. It is lighter and cheaper than woven cloth, it does not fray when cut, and the seams can be heat sealed instead of stitched.

Print sits on the surface rather than in a weave, so solid colour blocks and bold logos reproduce best. A laminated version adds a wipe-clean face and a gloss finish.

Seams are double stitched, raw edges are enclosed, and hardware is set with a backing plate so it does not pull through under load.

Printing and branding

Branding here is a decision about surface as much as artwork: a solid block, a fine line or a stitched label each reads differently on the same bag. Screen print handles the solid block, heat transfer the fine line, embroidery the label; a woven side tag can go in at the same time.

We print to a Pantone reference rather than to what a monitor shows, and we send a digital mockup on the bag shape so the size can be judged before tooling. Sampling runs once artwork and specification are agreed, and the signed sample becomes the document the whole run is measured against.

Size, colour and small changes

The bag is cut to your measurements, so a size that is not on any list is not a problem. Send the packed object's dimensions and we will add the seam and closure allowance. Where the bag is a repeat, we keep the pattern and the screen on file so the second run matches the first.

Fabric colour, print colour, thread colour and hardware finish are specified separately, which is what makes a repeat order repeatable. Hardware, lining and thread are chosen against a physical swatch rather than a screen, which removes most of the surprises.

Packing, checks and shipping

Inspection is done against the signed sample, with the print position measured and the colour checked under a light box. Artwork is best sent as vector; where only a photograph exists we redraw the mark and return it for approval.

Cartons are counted and marked before they leave the floor, and the packing list is sent ahead of dispatch so your warehouse knows what is arriving. Transit options and documents are confirmed with the order, and the packing list is issued before the container is loaded.
