Polyester folding bag, made to order

Folding bag, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference LC-FD0005. Seams are double stitched, raw edges are enclosed, and hardware is set with a backing plate so it does not pull through under load.

Material and construction

Polyester is a tight, light synthetic weave. It holds colour well, dries quickly and takes a water-repellent finish without changing the look of the cloth.

Sublimation print suits polyester best because the dye bonds into the fibre, so full-colour artwork stays soft to the touch.

Binding runs the full length of every inside seam, and the base is a separate panel rather than a folded continuation of the front, which is what keeps a full bag square.

Printing and branding

Branding here is a decision about surface as much as artwork: a solid block, a fine line or a stitched label each reads differently on the same bag. Foil, deboss and a woven label are the other three routes, and each has a fibre it prefers: foil on satin, deboss on velvet, a label on anything coarsely woven.

Screens are kept on file after the first run, so a repeat order prints from the same plate and the second delivery matches the first. Any change after approval is re-sampled rather than absorbed into the run, so what is signed off is what is delivered.

Size, colour and small changes

Measurements are taken from the finished bag, not from the flat panel, so what you specify is what a buyer measures with a tape on arrival. A pre-production sample is made from the agreed specification before anything is cut for bulk.

Handle type and drop, lining, inner pockets and labelling are all open to change, and each is priced before it is made rather than after. Anything that alters the pattern is quoted as a variation on this shape rather than as a new product.

Packing, checks and shipping

Every order is inspected in line and again before packing, against the approved sample: print position, colour, stitch density, hardware function and measurement. Quotations are built line by line, so the cost of the bag, the print and the packing can each be read on its own.

Shipping documents are prepared from the same order sheet as the goods, so the invoice, the packing list and the carton marks agree. Where a launch date is fixed, we work back from it to the booking date and confirm both in writing.
