Polyester cooler bag, made to order

Cooler bag, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference LC-FD0006. Zips are stitched through a tape that is wider than the teeth, so the seam does not pucker and the pull runs without catching at the curve.

Material and construction

Polyester is a tight, light synthetic weave. It holds colour well, dries quickly and takes a water-repellent finish without changing the look of the cloth.

Sublimation print suits polyester best because the dye bonds into the fibre, so full-colour artwork stays soft to the touch.

Binding runs the full length of every inside seam, and the base is a separate panel rather than a folded continuation of the front, which is what keeps a full bag square.

Printing and branding

Branding here is a decision about surface as much as artwork: a solid block, a fine line or a stitched label each reads differently on the same bag. Heat transfer suits a small logo with fine detail, digital print carries gradients and photographs, and embroidery gives a raised mark without a second component.

Send the vector file and we will say which method holds up best on the fibre you chose, with a mockup on the bag shape and a physical reference for colour. Quotations are built line by line, so the cost of the bag, the print and the packing can each be read on its own.

Size, colour and small changes

The bag is cut to your measurements, so a size that is not on any list is not a problem. Send the packed object's dimensions and we will add the seam and closure allowance. Carton dimensions are agreed with the order, because the packed size decides the freight cost.

Fabric colour, print colour, thread colour and hardware finish are specified separately, which is what makes a repeat order repeatable. Anything that alters the pattern is quoted as a variation on this shape rather than as a new product.

Packing, checks and shipping

Inspection is done against the signed sample, with the print position measured and the colour checked under a light box. Tolerances are plus or minus three millimetres on a sewn bag, which is what a handmade line has always held and what your own inspection should expect.

Cartons are counted and marked before they leave the floor, and the packing list is sent ahead of dispatch so your warehouse knows what is arriving. Where a launch date is fixed, we work back from it to the booking date and confirm both in writing.

Q1: Can our logo be printed on this cooler bag?

A1: Yes. On polyester we normally use screen printing or heat transfer, which holds thin lines and small type well. Send vector artwork where you have it; where you only have a photo, we redraw the mark and return it for approval.

Q2: What is this cooler bag made of, and how does it wear?

A2: This one is polyester. We pick the weight to match the job the cooler bag has to do, so a pouch that carries cosmetics is not built like one that carries groceries.

Q3: Can we change the size, colour or add a pocket?

A3: Yes. Sizes and colours are open, and small construction changes such as an inside pocket, a longer handle or a lining are quoted from your drawing. Anything that changes the pattern is re-sampled first.

Q4: How long does a sample take?

A4: A printed sample usually takes three to seven working days after artwork approval, and it ships by courier with tracking. The sample cost is credited against the production run.
