Nylon folding bag, made to order

Folding bag, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference FD-RPET0005. Binding runs the full length of every inside seam, and the base is a separate panel rather than a folded continuation of the front, which is what keeps a full bag square.

Material and construction

Nylon is the tougher of the light synthetic weaves: more abrasion resistant than polyester at the same weight, and it folds down smaller.

It takes screen print and heat transfer cleanly, and a matte or ripstop version can be specified where the bag has to survive rough handling.

Edges are folded and stitched rather than cut raw, and the base is reinforced where the load sits, which is the difference between a bag that lasts a season and one that lasts a year.

Printing and branding

Screen printing is the default for a short colour count: one plate per colour, a crisp edge on woven cloth, and a print that follows the surface rather than sitting on top of it. Heat transfer suits a small logo with fine detail, digital print carries gradients and photographs, and embroidery gives a raised mark without a second component.

Screens are kept on file after the first run, so a repeat order prints from the same plate and the second delivery matches the first. Hardware is stocked in a small range of finishes, and a custom pull or plate can be tooled when the run justifies it.

Size, colour and small changes

Measurements are taken from the finished bag, not from the flat panel, so what you specify is what a buyer measures with a tape on arrival. A pre-production sample is made from the agreed specification before anything is cut for bulk.

Fabric colour, print colour, thread colour and hardware finish are specified separately, which is what makes a repeat order repeatable. Each change is priced before it is made, not after, so the quotation you approve is the one that is invoiced.

Packing, checks and shipping

Every order is inspected in line and again before packing, against the approved sample: print position, colour, stitch density, hardware function and measurement. The order sheet records the fibre, the colour references and the print position, so a repeat enquiry can be quoted from it directly.

Cartons are counted and marked before they leave the floor, and the packing list is sent ahead of dispatch so your warehouse knows what is arriving. Transit options and documents are confirmed with the order, and the packing list is issued before the container is loaded.

Q1: Can our logo be printed on this folding bag?

A1: Yes. On nylon we normally use screen printing or heat transfer, which holds thin lines and small type well. Send vector artwork where you have it; where you only have a photo, we redraw the mark and return it for approval.

Q2: What is this folding bag made of, and how does it wear?

A2: This one is nylon. We pick the weight to match the job the folding bag has to do, so a pouch that carries cosmetics is not built like one that carries groceries.

Q3: Can we change the size, colour or add a pocket?

A3: Yes. Sizes and colours are open, and small construction changes such as an inside pocket, a longer handle or a lining are quoted from your drawing. Anything that changes the pattern is re-sampled first.

Q4: How long does a sample take?

A4: A printed sample usually takes three to seven working days after artwork approval, and it ships by courier with tracking. The sample cost is credited against the production run.
