Drawstring pouch, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference DR-PT0005. Zips are stitched through a tape that is wider than the teeth, so the seam does not pucker and the pull runs without catching at the curve.

Material and construction

Jute is a bast fibre with a visible, slightly hairy weave and a natural tan tone. It is the most recognisable of the low-impact options and it photographs well, which is why retail buyers use it for seasonal and gift ranges.

The open weave takes large printed blocks better than small type, so we recommend artwork with generous shapes. An inner lamination keeps fine dust out of the bag and stops it marking pale contents.

Edges are folded and stitched rather than cut raw, and the base is reinforced where the load sits, which is the difference between a bag that lasts a season and one that lasts a year.

Printing and branding

Screen printing is the default for a short colour count: one plate per colour, a crisp edge on woven cloth, and a print that follows the surface rather than sitting on top of it. Heat transfer suits a small logo with fine detail, digital print carries gradients and photographs, and embroidery gives a raised mark without a second component.

Send the vector file and we will say which method holds up best on the fibre you chose, with a mockup on the bag shape and a physical reference for colour. Documents are prepared from the same order sheet as the goods, so the invoice, the packing list and the carton marks agree.

Size, colour and small changes

Sizes are made to your dimensions rather than picked from a list. If you have the object the bag has to hold, send its measurements and we will work out the allowance; if you have a drawing already, we cut to it. Where the bag is a repeat, we keep the pattern and the screen on file so the second run matches the first.

Handle type and drop, lining, inner pockets and labelling are all open to change, and each is priced before it is made rather than after. A change to the pattern is drawn up and sent back as a dimensioned sketch before the sample is cut.

Packing, checks and shipping

Inspection is done against the signed sample, with the print position measured and the colour checked under a light box. Quotations are built line by line, so the cost of the bag, the print and the packing can each be read on its own.

Cartons are counted and marked before they leave the floor, and the packing list is sent ahead of dispatch so your warehouse knows what is arriving. Where a launch date is fixed, we work back from it to the booking date and confirm both in writing.
