Polyester promotional bag, 23x15x3cm, made to order

Promotional bag, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference QD-275. Panels are cut on the grain and matched before sewing, so the weave runs the same way across the front, the gusset and the base instead of twisting at the corner.

Material and construction

Polyester is a tight, light synthetic weave. It holds colour well, dries quickly and takes a water-repellent finish without changing the look of the cloth.

Sublimation print suits polyester best because the dye bonds into the fibre, so full-colour artwork stays soft to the touch.

Stress points are bar-tacked or cross-stitched where a handle meets the body, and every seam is finished inside so the bag does not shed fibre onto its contents.

Printing and branding

Branding here is a decision about surface as much as artwork: a solid block, a fine line or a stitched label each reads differently on the same bag. Where the artwork has shading we move to heat transfer or digital print; where it should feel raised, to embroidery.

Screens are kept on file after the first run, so a repeat order prints from the same plate and the second delivery matches the first. The order sheet records the fibre, the colour references and the print position, so a repeat enquiry can be quoted from it directly.

Size, colour and small changes

The bag is cut to your measurements, so a size that is not on any list is not a problem. Send the packed object's dimensions and we will add the seam and closure allowance. A pre-production sample is made from the agreed specification before anything is cut for bulk.

Fabric colour, print colour, thread colour and hardware finish are specified separately, which is what makes a repeat order repeatable. Hardware, lining and thread are chosen against a physical swatch rather than a screen, which removes most of the surprises.

Packing, checks and shipping

Every order is inspected in line and again before packing, against the approved sample: print position, colour, stitch density, hardware function and measurement. Tolerances are plus or minus three millimetres on a sewn bag, which is what a handmade line has always held and what your own inspection should expect.

Shipping documents are prepared from the same order sheet as the goods, so the invoice, the packing list and the carton marks agree. Where a launch date is fixed, we work back from it to the booking date and confirm both in writing.

Frequently asked questions

Q1: Can our logo be printed on this travel organiser?

A1: Yes. On polyester we normally use screen printing or heat transfer, which holds thin lines and small type well. Send vector artwork where you have it; where you only have a photo, we redraw the mark and return it for approval.

Q2: What is this travel organiser made of, and how does it wear?

A2: This one is polyester. We pick the weight to match the job the travel organiser has to do, so a pouch that carries cosmetics is not built like one that carries groceries.

Q3: Can we change the size, colour or add a pocket?

A3: Yes. Sizes and colours are open, and small construction changes such as an inside pocket, a longer handle or a lining are quoted from your drawing. Anything that changes the pattern is re-sampled first.

Q4: How long does a sample take?

A4: A printed sample usually takes three to seven working days after artwork approval, and it ships by courier with tracking. The sample cost is credited against the production run.
