Drawstring pouch, made to your specification rather than pulled from a stock list. The body is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Cangnan, so the pattern carries your dimensions, your colour and your closure instead of a catalogue default. Reference DR-MS0007. Panels are cut on the grain and matched before sewing, so the weave runs the same way across the front, the gusset and the base instead of twisting at the corner.

Material and construction

Organza is a thin, stiff sheer weave, semi-transparent and crisp. It holds a shape on its own, which is why it is used for favour bags and gift wraps.

Print or foil sits on the surface and reads through the layers, giving a soft double image rather than a solid block.

Stress points are bar-tacked or cross-stitched where a handle meets the body, and every seam is finished inside so the bag does not shed fibre onto its contents.

Printing and branding

Screen printing is the default for a short colour count: one plate per colour, a crisp edge on woven cloth, and a print that follows the surface rather than sitting on top of it. Foil, deboss and a woven label are the other three routes, and each has a fibre it prefers: foil on satin, deboss on velvet, a label on anything coarsely woven.

Placement is usually centred on the front face. The print position, the size in millimetres and the colour reference are confirmed in writing before production, and a mockup of the artwork on the actual shape is sent for approval. Quotations are built line by line, so the cost of the bag, the print and the packing can each be read on its own.

Size, colour and small changes

Sizes are made to your dimensions rather than picked from a list. If you have the object the bag has to hold, send its measurements and we will work out the allowance; if you have a drawing already, we cut to it. Small quantities are made on the same line as large ones, so a trial order is not a different product.

Handle type and drop, lining, inner pockets and labelling are all open to change, and each is priced before it is made rather than after. A change to the pattern is drawn up and sent back as a dimensioned sketch before the sample is cut.

Packing, checks and shipping

Checks run at three points: on the cut panels, on the assembled bag, and on the packed carton. The reference is the sample you approved, so anything that drifts is caught before it is boxed. Cartons can be plain or printed with your own marks, and inner packing can be a poly bag, a tissue wrap or nothing at all.

Goods ship from Ningbo, Shanghai or Shenzhen, by sea, air or rail depending on the date you need them, and we quote the options rather than assume one. Delivery is quoted to your port or door, and the incoterm is stated on the order rather than assumed.

Q1: Can our logo be printed on this drawstring pouch?

A1: Yes. On organza we normally use screen printing, which holds thin lines and small type well. Send vector artwork where you have it; where you only have a photo, we redraw the mark and return it for approval.

Q2: What is this drawstring pouch made of, and how does it wear?

A2: This one is organza. We pick the weight to match the job the drawstring pouch has to do, so a pouch that carries cosmetics is not built like one that carries groceries.

Q3: Can we change the size, colour or add a pocket?

A3: Yes. Sizes and colours are open, and small construction changes such as an inside pocket, a longer handle or a lining are quoted from your drawing. Anything that changes the pattern is re-sampled first.

Q4: Can the bag be made in our brand colour?

A4: Yes. We match to a Pantone reference or to a physical swatch you send, and the first article is photographed against that reference so you can see the match before the run continues.
